Placing a loved one in a nursing center is not an easy decision to make. At Casa Arena Blanca Nursing Center our goal is to empower decisions to enhance lives.

Skilled Nursing

At Casa Arena Blanca Nursing Center our goal is to help you make this transition as smooth as possible.

Services include the following:

  • Extensive wound care
  • 24-hour care from licensed nurses and aides
  • Pain management
  • IV therapy
  • Nutritional support to meet the needs of each resident
  • Rehabilitation services provided under the specialized care of the Therapy Department

Respite Care

Casa Arena Blanca offers a special program for those caring for their loved ones at home. The Respite Care Program is designed to provide short-term support and relief for these individuals.

Hospice Care

For families that have chosen the support and care of hospice services, Casa Arena Blanca provides an option to have your loved one stay in a specialized hospice suite. Residents benefit from the continuing care of hospice services, while receiving around the clock support from our nursing staff.

Memory Care Unit

Casa Arena Blanca offers a specialized Memory Care Unit. The goal of the Memory Care Unit is to assist persons with Alzheimer’s, dementia and related disorders in building their personalities and strengths to enhance their quality of life.

We have recently expanded our Memory Care Unit to a 39-bed unit. This is a secure unit provided for the safety of your loved one.
At Casa Arena Blanca, we provide activities in our Memory Care Unit that are specific to the needs of our Memory Care Unit Residents.
An Alzheimer’s support group is held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the facility.

Rehabilitation Services

The Therapy Team at Casa Arena offers residents a broad range of rehabilitation services. Combining physical, occupational and speech therapy, our therapists develop and implement a comprehensive recovery plan which addresses the needs of each individual.

Promoting progress in mobility, independent living and restoring communication in swallowing, residents are provided with focused, individualized programs designed to address areas such as:

  • Fractures and trauma
  • Joint replacement
  • Stroke rehabilitation
  • Gait and balance training
  • Amputee rehabilitation/prosthetics
  • Shoulder, elbow and hand rehabilitation
  • Nerve injuries/carpal tunnel
  • Self-care, grooming and hygiene
  • Adaptive equipment
  • Home management
  • Speech/language disorders
  • Auditory impairments
  • Swallowing difficulties
